Photography 1 group Christmas get together.

Nine members of the Photography group 1 had a lovely lunch at the Oropi Hot Pools for their Christmas function. During the year, members had voted each month for their favourite photo without knowing who took each one.

The photo of the year with the highest number of votes was ‘Tumbleweed’ by Eileen Ammann, with Brian Lissette’s ‘Hi girls’ and my ‘Lacewing eggs’ equal runners-up.

The total highest number of votes over the whole year was won by myself, followed by Richard Hobden and third place to Brian Lissette. Eileen, Richard and Brian were each presented with a calendar with their winning photos attached.

All members received some votes during the year so everyone at the Christmas lunch received a gift for their efforts. The standard of the photos from all members of the group has increased significantly over the year as shown by the close voting. Congratulations to all of you.
