Greek has changed less in two thousand years than any other spoken tongue. Modern Greek is nearer to the Greek of Homer than modern English is to Chaucer (ca.1343-1400).

Many members join U3A to study languages that fascinated them but did not have time to persue. No prior knowledge of this most beautiful of languages (Greek) is required. Some prior knowledge is required for Latin.
