This group studies earth sciences mainly about New Zealand but also worldwide, to understand current and past geological events. The neighbouring Taupo volcanic zone, the Waikato, and Coromandel peninsula with our own Tauranga volcanic centre are local features which keep us engaged. We have a mix of men and women, long standing and new members.
