Convenors' Meetimg

There is a change to the date of the first meeting. As the 30th March is Good Friday, the meeting will now be held on Wednesday 30th May in the small hall. Morning tea at 9.30 am followed by the meeting. We apologise for this error.

Several convenors are stepping down from their roles at the end of the year. In order for the following groups to continue next year, convenors and in some cases convenor/tutors are required for the following groups: Tap or click the name for more information.

A tutor is definitely required for Spanish for Beginners and the Spanish Conversation Course to go ahead. The existing tutor who is not a U3A member and who is probably relocating to Auckland charges, so the members of this group are aware that there will be a charge for an outside tutor. Please contact Christine (phone 543 9483) if you know a suitable person.

Three of the co-ordinators are stepping down as co-ordinators, so replacement co-ordinators are required. If you would like to know more about what is involved, please contact one of the existing co-ordinators.

Tauranga Continuing Education Group

Tauranga Continuing Education Group aims to Providing older people with an opportunity to listen to prominent New Zealanders discussing topics of interest.  Many of the speakers come from the University of Waikato and others from business and local organisations.

Meetings are held at the Otumoetai Baptist Church, 241 Otumoetai Road, Tauranga, commencing at 10.00am 3rd Tuesday of the month.
