Lone Rangers 2 has grown so quickly in five months that there are now 35 of us.

I believe that the Lone Rangers Group is one of the most important groups in the U3A - even if just two of us at a meeting join together to go somewhere that otherwise we would have gone alone or not gone at all is wonderful!

24th October we have just had another high spirited and cheerful meeting with lots of ideas enthusiastically discussed! Some of the outings we have planned include:

Iris Garden at Katikati. The garden entry is free and you can see over 1200 species of iris!
Athenree Homestead Christmas Fair on Sunday 26th November.
White Island

A trip to White Island on 4th December is going ahead.

On the list for next year is;
High tea at Athenree Homestead,
High Tea, Persimmon Lane Cakery and Coffee Shop,
Ohinemuri Winery at Karangahake ,
The Waterlily Gardens Wahi (the ponds, more than twenty in all, are rich with splashes of yellow, red, white, blue, pink, peach and cream water lilies).
