Yoga 3 Papamoa Tuesdays 9.30 am

The time: Tuesdays 9.30 am till 10.30 am. The place: Papamoa Sport and Recreation Centre, Allice Way off Parton Road.

We’ve been going to yoga sessions here in the great facilities at Gordon Spratt Reserve for 9 weeks now. By and large the attendances have been variable and recently quite disappointing.

Ive been in contact with all of those who registered to check up on them and everything is normal, except a few have pulled out already. We are looking for more members to join who are prepared to stick around for 5-6 weeks so that their bodies can get used to the exercises.

Exercises include stretching, gentle twists, breathing properly and learning mindfulness (concentrating on the present moment) are all taught in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There is even a bit of humour thrown is as well.

Yoga mats are available and on sale at $7.50 each. Light blocks to assist as props may be required and are available at K Mart and the Warehouse at very reasonable prices. A blanket for the knees and behind should be brought as well.

Come and give it a try.
