The new Apple Mac Users Group had its second meeting in Maungatapu on Tuesday 2nd July (10-12 noon).

This week we covered the Apple Menu and Finder controls; system preferences for the track pad and mouse; how to add buttons to the Windows including a Delete button (which is easier to use than dragging files to the Trash Bin); how to add programs to the Dock; and how to setup the Window’s Sidebar. We also use some new keyboard shortcuts which speeded up using the Mac. We were 4 strong but we are looking for more Apple Mac users to come along with their Macs and join us on the first Tuesday each month. Are you considering upgrading to a Mac?
