Hi all,

Our next walk is next Monday, the 22nd May and will be at Waihi Beach walking the estuary track heading towards Bowentown. This is a there and back track but we may come back via the beach if the tides are OK. The walk should take around an hour unless we get carried away like we did last time when it stretched a bit in time.

Start will be on Emerton Rd which is the main road between State Highway 2 and Waihi Beach on the southern side. X marks the meeting spot on the attached map which is between the NZMCA park and Seaford Park village

Time - 930am as usual

Toilets - none

Footwear - this is a gravel track but there could be slushy parts so boots are recommended but not essential. Walking poles are not required.

Carpooling - I can take 4 passengers from either Omokoroa or Katikati. Please contact me if you want a ride.

Can you please let me know if you are coming on the walk

Remember, cancellation emails due to bad weather will be sent out on the day no later than 730am.
