Hi all,
Our next Mini Hike will be in Whakatane starting by the toilets closest to the harbour/river entrance situated on Muriwai Drive just past the boat ramp and close to the playground. We will be walking along the riverbank.
Start time - 10am at the venue
Footwear - this is a concrete/sealed pathway so anything goes
Distance - I don't know but as it is a there and back walk, we will walk for 45 minutes and turn back so expect 90 mins maximum for the walk.
Toilets - start and finish
Cafe for lunch - see what we can find in Whakatane unless someone has a place they know of.
Carpooling - I will have room for 4 people leaving from Omokoroa, via Bethlehem, Bayfair area to Whakatane. Contact me if you want a ride on 021 159 5613 or email me. I will be leaving Omokoroa around 8am - traffic???

For the Mount/Papamoa, meet at the corner of Gloucester Rd and Sanhurst Dr. Please let Barbara Ph 027 315 1136 know if you are carpooling with this group and she will tell you the meeting time.
