On a beautiful sunny winter’s day 7 members of the Mini-Hikers1 Group met on Marine Parade, Mount Maunganui.

We walked over to Leisure Island and enjoyed the views over the ocean. We then walked up the four wheel drive track on the Mount to the water tower and enjoyed viewing the mural painted by MrG. (photo attached).
We continued up to the North Face Track and then walked down this track and around on the grass to the style and down on to the base track and walked part way around and then back to have coffee. A great winter’s walk!
