The History of New Zealand group

We spent a very pleasant morning for our final meeting of the year visiting the new garden at The Elms. We are fortunate to have Bev as one of our members and she explained the significance of the  plantings as well as the design of the structure within it. We admired the magnificent carvings and leant something of the stories behind them.

This was followed by a shared picnic lunch, none the less enjoyable for being moved indoors by unreliable weather.
