We have vacancies for and would welcome a few new members as several of ours re-located themselves away from Tauranga over the past few months.

At present we have a small band of keen members who enjoy learning and discussing anything to do with astronomy, ranging from what is current in the night sky to the latest in space travel, cosmology and beyond.  Sometimes the topics range quite wide. 

We encourage people to participate,  where possible,  and should members feel inclined,  to do a little research and present their findings in the form of a short (ten minutes or even less)  talk, we welcome that.
This year we have connected up with theU3A On Line course in Astronomy and we think this will prove to be particularly useful.
