At present we have a small band of keen members who enjoy learning and discussing anything to do with astronomy, ranging from what is current in the night sky to the latest in space travel, cosmology and beyond. Sometimes the topics range quite wide. We encourage people to participate.
This year we have connected up with the U3A On Line course in astronomy and we think this will prove to be particularly useful.
We meet at members’ homes, as arranged, on the first Monday of each month 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and after the meeting continue chatting over a cup of tea or coffee.
