2016 starts with a plea for content. The group wants the web site to be dynamic, with the group information checked by the conveners and co-ordinators. Members discused  the development of the U3A Tauranga web site and compared that to other web sites.

Many ideas are discussed, and although not implemented immediately, give a plan forward.

The site uses a Joomla! Framework, plus bootstrap.

Modern best practice is researched, and the new technology is considered. Many of our web site visitors are using devices other than a deskbound computer to look at the web site.

The group is at maximum number but if there were interested people wanting to build a Wordpress site that could be put forward to the committee as a suggested new group.
