These pictures are of 15 members of Hikers2 Group at Lake Okataina on 28 th April.  Starting at the car park the group walked for two hours along the track towards Lake Tarawera before returning on the same track.

 There was only one sandy bay by the Lake where we took a rest stop.  Most of the track is away from the Lake or high up above it.  Lovely walk on fairly easy dry track in good weather.
