Welcome to hatha yoga where our popular tutor guides us in poses involving stretching, breathing and relaxation, so we feel refreshed physically and mentally. We practice a variety of poses to improve our balance, flexibility, circulation, bone density, sleep and energy levels, and to relieve stress. We participate at a level we are comfortable with, whether beginners or more experienced. As befits a U3A group, we are also introduced to some wider aspects of yoga to increase our awareness and mindfulness in today’s restive world.
