In March, as the convenor of the Photography group was away, some members joined Allan and ventured out for a field trip to Omokoroa. A couple of those who went along arrived early and snapped the sunrise, while the rest arrived in time for a morning coffee before wandering around the seaside town to look for good subjects for photos. The photos were voted on by the members at the April meeting. The members choice was a tie between Allan’s ‘Dinghys’ and Bill’s ‘First light Omokoroa’.
