Weekend Walkers Kulim Park to Matua Wetlands 11th June 2015

The tide was out and the sun was shining when 15 members and a visitor walked along the foreshore from Kulim Park.
We walked into the Matua Wetlands and along the boardwalks. A jetty protruded out into the estuary with reflections of the surrounding houses and bush in the still water. A detour around the surrounding streets was an education to most of us who do not detour on our travels. A street vendor selling icecreams and coffee in Ferguson Park attracted purchases from some, but there were no muffins or food items for sale. We said goodbye to those who wanted their lunch in a coffee shop.
