McLaren Falls and Ruahihi Canal 9th October.
11 members of the cycle group met at McLaren Falls Cafe and rode off down the hill and around the edge of the lake.

The reflections of the trees and cyclists in the lake were spectacular. Down the hill to the entrance of the park they rode to the start of the Ruahihi Canal. The bikes were put over the gate which is locked. This is an easy ride along both sides of the canal.
Coffee at the cafe along with a discussion of where to have their end of year get together.
