After the planned hike being cancelled three times Hikers 1 took advantage of there being 5 Wednesdays in November to enjoy this tramp.

The farms were lush and green after the rain that caused the trip to be postponed. Weather was not too hot, and the ground reasonably dry underfoot. Now there are suspension bridges well above the river level. Concrete work shows where previous bridges had been and were probably no match for the power of a river in flood. The group decided on a lunch spot on the river bed as the turn around point. Coffee at the Long Table rounded off the day.
