Whilst the cycle group were cycling to Cambridge and the Avantidrome 3 Weekend Walkers walked along the walkway along side the lake in the opposite direction.

There is a wooden walkway along side the river but attached to the bank where we saw a swan family and rowers practicing. There was a lot of activity preparing for the Maadi Cup over the weekend. We waited for the cyclists to return and we all enjoyed lunch under a shady tree.
