Our membership is steadily increasing in size with 17 members now but there is still room for more, 18 more to be exact!

A fine Wednesday and 8 members of Hikers 1 group enjoyed a hike along the High Level Pack Track. The highlight was seeing a Kaka in the bush.

U3A Mini Hikers walk 26 April 2017.Ten members of the Mini Hikers group went along for the hike on the Te Waihou walkway to the Blue Springs.

On 22nd April, a sunny day, 19 Weekend Walkers drove to Waihi. After morning tea we set off to walk around the Rim of the Martha Goldmine where there are many information boards describing the functions of the Goldmine.

April 19th, and good weather saw Hikers 1 enjoy the hike from Whakatane Mokorua Gorge to Ohope Beach. It was mostly dry underfoot but there was a lot of tree damage from the recent bad weather.

The U3A Tauranga Travel Group meet the 4th Thursday of each month in the lounge at the Wesley Methodist Centre, 13th Avenue. 23 March 2017 had two speakers, morning tea and lots of discussion.
